PLAINFIELD — The North Jersey bank that holds a mortgage on nine city apartment entities managed by Connolly Properties Inc. plans to investigate whether money was being taken from the company’s bank account after Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection was requested for the properties, according to arguments presented Friday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Newark.
